Besuch in der Volksoper „Pinocchio“
The 2b visits the Vienna Volksoper
On Dec. 6th, 2017 we visited the Volksoper with out teacher Mrs Hogg and watched Pinocchio. The piece itself is about Pinocchio. Pinocchio is a wooden doll that wishes to be a real boy. During the break we could look at all the costumes and talk with the actors.
We did an interview with Maddy. She is 11 years old and works on stage as a singer and actress.
KoppNews: Why did you choose this piece?
Maddy: The people at the opera chose me and I said yes.
KoppNews: How often did you rehearse this piece?
Maddy: Really often. Three to four times per week since September.
KoppNews: Did you get payed for this piece?
KoppNews: Why do you go to the Kinderchor?
Maddy: Because it’s fun.
KoppNews: How long are you in the Kinderchor?
Maddy: I have been there for about 4 years.
KoppNews: How often do you play in the Volksoper?
Maddy: It depends on the pieces.
KoppNews: What are your hobbies?
Maddy: Piano and fishing.
KoppNews: Do you like your job?
Maddy: Yes, i really do.
KoppNews: Do you got enough time for school?

Last but not least, we would like to thank Mrs Brigitte Lehr who made it possible for us to visit and interview the actors of the Vienna Volksoper.
